Camping Birthday Invitations

Hello Friends & Bloggers!

Today I wanted to share birthday invitations I recently made for my niece's 10th birthday which was...what else....a CAMPING THEME!

So we looked online for a bit for some inspiration and ideas of what she liked and then chose colors.

I used a black base with blue background and stamped versa mark stars on the blue to make them subtle but apparent. I cut the tent triangles by hand and then hole punched each and included a yellow brad in the shape of star to tie the string enclosure around.

The moon & clouds, trees, flags and grass were all cut using the Create a Critter 2 cartridge. I then added brown glitter to the trees for a little extra fun pop and I hand wrote "Camp Hailey #10" on the flags for her age.

I love how these turned out and my sister got lots of compliments from the parents who received them. I'm always happy to hear my cards/invitations made someone smile! :)

I am entering this into this week's challenge over at

I am entering this into this week's Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #174: Summer Camp

Have you all done any fun themes lately or have any fun ideas? Feel free to share them here! :)

Sincerely, Brit
