Hello Friends & Fellow Bloggers!
In honor of Independence Day coming up, I wanted to share this card I made using my Cricut along with cuts from the Cricut Craft Room Independence day collection, as well as my Accent Essentials cartridge.
The blue background paper with the white Eagle and coat of arms felt patriotic to me so I had to include. It is from the Paper Studio collection called STONEWASHED. The ribbon is red & white with a hint of shimmer and wire based so I knotted in the top right corner and twisted together half way down the side.
The stars were cut using plain white cardstock and a thicker, silver/gray ridged cardstock.
The "Freedom" I cut twice using the free cuts currently in Cricut Craftroom, The white I cut as the background to give the shadow illusion and distinguish the blue wording from the blue background more. I also raised the "Freedom" cuts using foam adhesive circles for more dimension.
Hope you like it! How are you getting crafty this 4th of July?
P.S. - I'm entering this into the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog: Red, White & Blue Challenge as well as the BBTB2: Patriotism - Red, White & Blue Challenge.
